Please join us on Tuesday, July 29th for our general membership lunch, where Tony Fiore, Director of Labor & Human Resources at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce will address the Healthy Families Act. The proposed state law, crafted by the Service Employees International Union, would force employers to provide annual paid sick leave to all employees. Mr. Fiore will discuss the position of the Ohio Chamber on this issue and the impact that, if passed, the legislation will have on businesses.
Sponsored by Mimi Vanderhaven’s Fabulous Buys, the lunch will take place at Emilio’s Restaurant, 180 West Streetsboro, in the Acme Plaza. It will begin promptly at 11:30am, and reservations are required, and may be made online at explorehudson.com. Cost for Chamber members is $15, non-members $20.
