Highlighted programs include:
Enterprise Zone
The City of Hudson can offer tax exemptions on real and
personal property for up to 15 years on the cost of qualified
new investment through the Summit County Enterprise Zone
Program.
Community Reinvestment Areas (CRA)
The City can offer real property tax exemptions for existing
businesses planning to expand and to new businesses planning
to move to Hudson. Exemptions of up to 100% for up to 15 years
on the investment in a new industrial or commercial building
or building expansion may be granted.
Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)
Hudson Crossing Business Park, a new 130 acre business park
along Route 8, is home to Foreign Trade Zone #181. Companies
located within the FTZ may be eligible for reduced, deferred
or eliminated duties, among many other benefits.
Economic Development Partners (Hudson Chamber’s Economic
Development Partners)
The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce works closely with the
Hudson Economic Development Corporation and regional partners
including the Greater Akron Chamber and COSE, under the
Greater Cleveland Partnership.
