This month we have partnered with State of Mind: Hudson to bring you Dr. Elliot Ingersol as a part of their speaker series. Dr. Ingersol will be speaking on how to be successful balancing multiple life roles.
Dr. Elliot Ingersoll serves as Chair and Professor in the Department of Counseling, Administration, Supervision, and Adult Learning at Cleveland State University. He earned his Bachelor’s in Psychology and then his Masters in Counseling from the Community Counseling program track in 1987. He then went on to earn his doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Kent State University. He has authored or co-authored seven books and over thirty articles and book chapters on topics as diverse as integrating Integral theory into training mental health professionals, psychopharmacology, and spiritual approaches to counseling. He has served as both the state and national President of the ACA division – the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values (ASERVIC) and the editor of Counseling and Values the national journal. He is also a founding member of Integral ReSource Group, a private consulting firm offering psychotherapy, coaching, and corporate consulting. He also serves as the current Faculty Advisor to the Chi Sigma Iota (Counseling Honor Society) chapter at Cleveland State University.
